Important Notice

This page contains important disclosures about Bridgeline Advance products and services. Please read these carefully before applying for a revenue advance or making an investment.

Product Disclosures

What We Offer

Bridgeline Advance provides revenue-based capital advances to qualified businesses. This is not a loan. We purchase a portion of your future receivables at a fixed, agreed-upon price. There is no interest rate, no compounding, and no variable terms. The total amount you repay is fixed and disclosed before you accept the advance.

Fee Schedule

Our fee structure is based on the advance term. The fee is a flat percentage of the advance amount, applied once at the time of funding:

ProductAmount RangeTermFlat Fee
Bridgeline Express$5,000 – $10,0004 – 8 weeks6% – 10%
Bridgeline Premium$15,000 – $50,0008 – 26 weeks10% – 24%
Bridgeline Enterprise$55,000 – $100,00012 – 52 weeks14% – 42%

Example: A $25,000 advance with a 12-week term at a 14% flat fee means you receive $25,000 and repay a total of $28,500 ($2,375 per week for 12 weeks). There is no compounding — the $3,500 fee is the full cost of the advance.

Repayment Terms

  • Payments are collected automatically via bank debit on a weekly or daily schedule as agreed
  • There are no prepayment penalties — you may repay the remaining balance early at any time
  • Failed payments may result in a returned payment fee (disclosed in your individual advance agreement)
  • Continued failure to make payments may result in collection activity and may be reported to credit agencies

No Hidden Fees

There are no application fees, origination fees, or closing costs. The flat fee disclosed at the time of approval is the complete cost of your advance. The only additional charges that may apply are returned payment fees resulting from failed bank debits.

Investor Disclosures

Risk Factors

Investing through Bridgeline Advance involves significant risk. You should carefully consider the following before investing:

  • Loss of Capital: You may lose some or all of your invested capital if a Borrower defaults on their advance
  • No FDIC Insurance: Investments are not bank deposits and are not insured by the FDIC or any other government agency
  • No Guarantee of Returns: Projected returns are estimates based on full and timely repayment. Actual returns may be lower than projected
  • Illiquidity: Your capital is committed for the duration of the advance term and cannot be withdrawn early
  • Limited Recourse: In the event of a Borrower default, recovery of invested capital is not guaranteed and may involve delays
  • Platform Risk: The continued operation of the Platform is not guaranteed. In the event of Platform discontinuation, existing advances will be managed through wind-down procedures
  • Concentration Risk: Investing a large portion of your portfolio in a single advance or a small number of advances increases your exposure to individual Borrower default

Investor Returns

Investor returns are generated from a share of the fixed fees charged to Borrowers. The investor return rate varies by advance and is disclosed for each opportunity on the Platform. Returns are paid proportionally as Borrower repayments are received. Late or missed Borrower payments will delay investor distributions.

Tax Obligations

Investment returns may be subject to federal, state, and local income taxes. Bridgeline Advance does not provide tax advice. You are responsible for reporting investment income and should consult a qualified tax professional regarding your tax obligations. We will provide applicable tax documentation (such as Form 1099) as required by law.

Suitability

Revenue advance investments are suitable only for investors who can bear the risk of loss and illiquidity. You should not invest funds that you may need for near-term expenses or that you cannot afford to lose. We recommend diversifying your investments across multiple advances and maintaining a balanced overall portfolio.
